A new Kaweco Sport mounts Olympus. In Greek mythology, the Titans were created by the deities representing Heaven and Earth. Quite poetic considering the material titanium now finds its use mainly in the aerospace sectors. The Kaweco Titan Sport shines in a deep grey colour with a silk-matt finish – a fine writing instrument, perfect for writing epic tales.
Hightech & Lightweight
Titanium is an especially interesting material that, as a result of
its unique characteristics, is mainly used in highly technological sectors. Due to its exceptional sturdiness, combined with its relatively light weight, it is favored in both aerospace and medical technology. That’s why the Kaweco Titan Sport is just as durable as the other metal-based series, with only a fraction of their weight. This fountain pen has emerged from its own hero’s journey: due to the sophisticated processing required for the material, an extended development phase was required to bring the titanium look and quantities to the infamous Sport model.
In contrast with the Kaweco Bronze and Brass series, due to its renowned corrosion resistance, titanium does not develop a patina over time, and keeps its look.
